A.F. VANDEVORST
A.F. Vandevorst is the Antwerp-based fashion house founded by Filip Arickx and An Vandevorst, active from 1997 until 2020 and internationally recognized for its conceptual, avant-garde approach to dress. The label, part of Andreas’ early store portfolio, moved between fashion, art, and performance. It explored themes of protection, care, and uniform, informed by military references and marked by the recurring red cross symbol that became synonymous with the brand. Among the house’s most enduring designs are the X010 biker boots, first introduced in 2000 and valued for their balance of strength and utility. In May 2025, Arickx and Vandevorst reissued the model to mark the 25th anniversary of its original release. Produced in Italy by the same family-run manufacturer, using the original pattern and the same type of leather, the re-edition maintains the durability and craftsmanship that defined the design from the beginning – boots made to feel strong and confident, and to last long enough to be passed on.
