We have been long-time customers of DRIES VAN NOTEN, and through various close collaborations, we have developed a strong connection with the house. For the opening of STORE 81, we organized a large presentation where visitors could choose from a selection of old fabrics by DRIES VAN NOTEN and have a dress custom-made. Several collaborative projects followed all of which are rooted in mutual respect and appreciation.
Dries Van Noten
DRIES VAN NOTEN, who rose to fame as part of the Antwerp Six, has intricate fabrics woven for his designs, using traditional techniques, patterns, and prints from Asia and all over the world. His creations effortlessly fuse modern elegance with tender historicism. Andreas Murkudis and Dries Van Noten have been close colleagues for many years. In 2015, they collaborated on a joint exhibition in Berlin. In addition to Dries Van Notens fashion designs, ANDREAS MURKUDIS stocks the Belgian designer’s beauty line, comprising lipsticks and fragrances.
