Amachi

AMACHI was founded in 2017 by designer Amachi Yoshimoto in Nagano, Japan. Born in 1993 in a remote mountainous region of California, he spent his early childhood immersed in a natural environment without electricity or gas, with parents who were musicians. Later, while based in Japan, he lived a nomadic life, traveling across various parts of the world. In his late teens, he gained experience working with fashion brands, textile manufacturers, and patternmakers, which led to the establishment of AMACHI, at the foothills of Nagano. Alongside presenting collections under his own label, he also engages in installation works, continuing to explore the relationship between nature and human.
