Amachi

AMACHI is the brand of designer Amachi Yoshimoto. Born in 1993 in a remote mountainous region of California, he spent his early childhood immersed in a natural environment without electricity or gas, with parents who were musicians. Later, while based in Japan, he lived a nomadic life, traveling across various parts of the world. In his late teens, he gained experience working with fashion brands, textile manufacturers and patternmakers, which led him to found AMACHI in 2017 in the foothills of Nagano. Alongside presenting collections under his own name, he also creates installations, continuing to explore the relationship between nature and humans. AMACHI is available at ANDREAS MURKUDIS in Berlin.
