I have known Edgar since the 1980s and we have worked closely together ever since, including in a museum context. The large black mirror he crafted, now displayed in STORE 81, has been with me since my time in Münzstraße, Berlin-Mitte. Edgar is undoubtedly one of Berlin's finest carpenters, impressing with his precision and exceptional craftsmanship.

EDGAR REINKE is a carpenter who makes bespoke furniture tailored to the wishes of the customer. Reinke and his team also plan comprehensive interior concepts. Their workshop is located in the Schöneberg neighborhood of West Berlin and comprises 11 employees that have perfected the processing of various materials over the past 30 years. True to Germany’s modernist design aesthetic, in EGDGAR REINKE’s designs form follows function to accommodate the daily needs of the owner. At ANDREAS MURKUDIS, a large, custom-made smoked oak shelf is fitted into the furniture wing.
