GGG (GOOD PEOPLE GOOD STITCHING GOOD PRODUCT)

GGG stands for GOOD PEOPLE GOOD STITCHING GOOD PRODUCT. The brand comes from MARUCHO, a Japanese cut-and-sew factory founded in 1954 that has spent decades sewing for leading international fashion houses. When MARUCHO started developing its own designs for other brands, it presented them with a small woven label carrying those six words. Visitors responded so strongly that GGG became a brand of its own in 2023. Everything is sewn in MARUCHO’s own factory in Japan, on sewing machines the factory has modified itself. They reduce the seam allowance to about a millimetre or wrap it inside the seam. GGG is available at ANDREAS MURKUDIS in Berlin.
