Petar Petrov

PETAR PETROV was founded in Vienna in 2009. Born in Ukraine and raised in Bulgaria, Petrov moved to Vienna in 1999 to study fashion at the University of Applied Arts, where Raf Simons and Viktor & Rolf were among his mentors. His collections combine precise, often masculine tailoring with fluid fabrics and prints. Viennese modernism, with its idea of removing unnecessary ornament, is a central influence. Petrov designs for real women with different bodies, professions and lives, and his clothes are made to work in everyday life, not just in a fashion image. The brand is still independent and run by its founder. PETAR PETROV is now available at ANDREAS MURKUDIS in Berlin.
