'Lewis Baltz: Sites of Technology' Exhibition

On the occasion of Gallery Weekend Berlin 2018, Galerie Thomas Zander and Andreas Murkudis presented the exhibition 'Lewis Baltz: Sites of Technology'. Photographed between 1989 and 1991, the series 'Sites of Technology' marks a paradigmatic turn within Lewis Baltz' oeuvre. It was the first time the artist used color photography for an entire series. Most of the pictures were taken in Europe, where Baltz moved to in the mid-1980s. 'Sites of Technology' documents the interior of companies dedicated to high technology research and production, such as Toshiba and France Télécom.
