We have, of course, been following KOSTAS MURKUDIS from the very beginning – whether with his suits for REGENT or his own collections. A particular highlight is the legendary dress he designed in 137 colors. In 2024, we showcased his collaboration with the German leather brand TSATSAS, as well as selected pieces from his archive.
Kostas Murkudis
Kostas Murkudis is a Greek senior designer and brother of Andreas Murkudis. He started his career as first assistant to Helmut Lang (1986–1993) before founding his own label, showcasing collections in Paris (1996–2001). In the 2000s, he became Creative Director for international labels and consulted for luxury brands. Over the past 10 years, Kostas has focused on creative, experimental projects, including collaborations with artists like Carsten Nicolai and William Forsythe, and a solo exhibition at MMK in Frankfurt. He lives and works in Berlin.
