Founded in 2007 by mother and daughter Kim and Dechen Yeshi, NORLHA is a sustainable luxury brand based on the Tibetan Plateau. From their atelier in Ritoma Village, NORLHA crafts clothing and homewares from yak khullu, a soft, durable fiber traditionally used by Tibetan nomads. As the Plateau's first yak khullu atelier, they employ 120 former nomads, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design. A certified Benefit Corporation, NORLHA champions community empowerment, sustainability, and timeless quality, creating heirloom textiles that honor yak and the rich heritage of their grasslands environment.
