Tukir

Japanese fashion designer Keiko Seya, who runs the eponymous brand SEYA, launched home garment project TUKIR in 2021. In the run-up, Seya worked with niche Japanese textile companies to test the aging of garments over years, using fabric manufacturing techniques from pre-industrial times. Each piece takes into account how the fabric will change over time. The materials – yak, cashmere, silk and wool – are dyed using vegetal colors such as Indigo and Logwood.
