TAIGA TAKAHASHI
T.T. is a brand steeped in history, knowledge, and emotional depth, leaving a lasting sense of inspiration. It was founded by the visionary Taiga Takahashi – designer and contemporary artist – whose life and work were dedicated to exploring time, art, and aesthetics. Although Takahashi passed away at just 27, his legacy lives on through his team and family, who continue to build upon his archival approach and boundless curiosity. His collection of more than 2,000 vintage garments and artefacts, dating back to the 1910s, serves as an enduring source of inspiration, fuelling the brand’s ongoing evolution.
At the heart of T.T. lies Takahashi’s concept of Applied Archaeology – an approach rooted in the belief that the essence of craftsmanship is embedded within historical garments: in their fabrics, construction, and the traces left by time. The T.T. team studies these objects, uncovering the logic and beauty of their making before reinterpreting them for the present. In doing so, the brand embraces the beauty of passing time, the wisdom of traditional techniques, and the ever-surprising qualities of nature.
For Berlin Art Week, we are pleased to present T.T.’s first womenswear collection alongside the FW26 menswear line.
You are warmly invited to the opening of this installation in our front store windows, where art, history, and fashion intersect.
